Today was a FUN-FILLED day.. we spent our morning at the Alumni Parade!! YAY!! Most of the floats had the theme FENWAY PARK.. you know.. those BOSTON RED SOX!!! GO GO GO!!! Anyway... I was sooooooooooooo EXCITED because my friends daughter flew up from FL to ride on her classes float... YAY!! I LOVE YOU JACLYN!! You will see a picture of her!!! We also had 5 TONS of play sand delivered to us today... Do you actually know how much 5 tons is!! More than my husband thought!!! So My son and his friend decided to bury my son in the sand... You will see a pic.. I had to make him smile.. because if he didn't.. it actually looked a little MORBID!! YIKES!! So today I thoughtI would share my Saturday with you.. Our parade.. a couple smiles.. a missed loved one.. and some good old fashioned fun!!!!

What a fun, fun day!

I linked to you through Lara's blog and have read through the entire first page posted here. I love your thoughts and challenges. I know I'm a little late for the bake something great and share it in awesome presentation challenge, but you have inspired me to do just that. I love to surprise someone with a tasty treat from the kitchen!

Thanks for getting me thinking!

Awe!! I'm jealous I LOVE parades!!! The Shriner made me think of my grandpa! (He used to drive a dune cat in the parades I swear we would go to at least a dozen every year!)

the parade is amazing, i love traditions, unfortunately it is something us South Africans lack at the moment, so much change, nobody is sure where they fit in! what was your parade about?

Looks like you have been really busy lately!!! I'm sorry I haven't been on lately. All my links are on my old computer and this is the first time I've been on it in like 2 weeks!!! I need to get them transfered over. I enjoyed your post about the sugar sacks!!!
