Each person should judge his own actions and not compare himself with others. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done. Galatians 6:4

Tuesday Morning... I get up early take my dog out... open my front door and PAUSED....

OH NO HE DIDN'T!!

I got to my car.. looked in it.. and YUP I was correct HE DIDN'T

HE being my husband....

HE DID NOT LOCK OUR CAR !!

Guess WHAT?

Someone else noticed too....

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Third time in three years....

Everything in my glove box... on my front seat... my box of tissues laying out side my car...

STUPID little JERKS stole OXYCODONE from someone Else's car and left the bottle by my car

I stomped into the house.. yelled at husband and went to grab the phone.. only to realize....City Hall called us at 2:33 am...

Hello... Ummm.. Mr. Flipflopmom.. um we were doing routine patrol and noticed someone broke into your car.. we have an officer outside your door right now..

I didn't hear the phone ring.. and neither did the two boys passed out in my living room... UGH...

They came back and got info from us... nothing was missing... UNTIL......................

Mr. FlipFlopmom went to grab for his wallet on top of the fridge... umm UH OH.. no wallet...

You guessed it.. IN THE CAR that was LEFT unlocked... Flipflop family usually.... does NOT carry cash... guess what.. that night we did.. BASEBALL CASH!! UGH...

Police came back.. gave info..

We scattered and checked the neighborhood for the wallet with the goods.. ( we knew the cash would be gone... but.. knew that the kids wouldn't take the cards)

We found NOTHING...

The old man that drives us INSANE in our neighborhood.. finds Mr. FlipFlops fishing license.. stuck in the man hole drain...

I told you the man was INSANE he CLEANS these holes...

Fortunately.. we are lucky to have an INSANE neighbor...

We found the wallet.. NO license.. NO work ID.. debit card was destroyed but the library card made it...

UGH... what a frustrating day that was... talk about EMOTIONS flying... WAIT.. RAGING!!

Well.. my neighbor ( different one) informs me last night he saw 4 teens.. HEARD them get into my car... he then called the police... they made it through the neighborhood before the police came... they were talking about cell phones and computers he said...

I asked him.. "Why didn't you yell.. I CALLED THE COPS.. or something if you didn't want to confront them... they would have ran.. would have saved some people some heartache " ( they slashed open someones convertible top... UGH...

But notice.. how this neighbor CALLED the COPS.. but on my answering machine the dispatch stated they were doing "routine" patrol... SWEET!! NOT.. don't lie to me!!

BUTTTTTT... on top of all this heartache.. ONE positive happened today... after 7 years.. TODAY was THE GRAND OFFICIAL day.. of the start of our new DECK!~! wooo hooo.. we have waited so long for this... Here is a beginning picture...

Oh my word! That is horrible! What a pain to deal with. Our police just caught a bunch of teens who were going around and getting into peoples cars! We had to really remember to lock our cars because I am so bad about leaving wallet, ipod, and all kinds of goodies for them in there:)Hope they catch them soon!

Oh man, that really bites. I know how you feel. It can be pretty devastating when someone steals something from you.

Six months after we got our van (yup the same blue van), it was stolen from right in front of the house that we were renting at the time. We came out of the house one Sunday morning to go to church and it was gone. I called 311 and they were asking me questions like "did you leave the keys in the ignition" Ummmm noooo. We thought for sure they IF they ever found it it would probably be burnt to the ground or something so after a few weeks we made the decision to just bite the bullet and get another vehicle using the money that we were planning to use to put a down payment on a new house for a down payment on the new vehicle instead. Two days of headaches trying to get this dog gone car and the NEXT day after we brought home this new vehicle we get a call from the police department stating they found our old one. The kicker part is the statement we got back after "paying" to get it out of inpound stated that they found it two days prior. Which would have saved us a whole lot of trouble. Not to mention we had to do a deep cleaning on our van because whoever stole it, used it as a party vehicle. Alcohol and the smell of weed was all over. Not to mention they stole the CD's they wanted that were in there and destroyed all the rest. Talk about frustrating!!!

I hope they catch the teens who did this to you. And YAY! for the new deck. :)

Oh, Man! That stinks!!!! One time when Big Daddy and I were first married, we lived in an apt. in Tulsa. And someone broke into his car. Big jerks pried the door lock off...can you say expensive?! Then trashed the interior.

It makes you feel so violated!!!
Sorry that happened to you. The wallet...not that's a pain in the butt.

Congrats on your deck. Our deck needs to be re-done and I am not looking forward to that project!

Oh man! That totally stinks! I just can't believe people sometimes.

My neighbors just had someone steal their iPods out of their car while they were in and out of the house unloading groceries. Can you believe that?

Oh,no! That's terrible! I hope they catch the nasty teens who stole from your car. Ugh! I'd be pretty upset with my Mr. Man if he'd done that. I'm sorry. Hopefully the deck will be a bright spot in all this.

we leave everything, house, vehicles etc unlocked all the time and have never had a problem. course we are very rural and have really big dogs LOL. now ask me about our mailbox......we replace our mailbox about every other month (as do all of our neighbors) right after someone bashes them all off the posts with a baseball bat or something. you'd think after 2+ years, the police would know SOMETHING
c'est la vie baby......that's all i can say, but i AM sorry for your trouble and wish you didn't have to go thru it!

What a pain! Isn't it ironic how you always get broken into when it's that one time you forgot to lock the doors. Makes me wonder if they troll every night just waiting for that easy chance.

OMG...tell me that wallet thing really didn't happen...I just finished blogging about my husbands wallet being stolen. He found his though, with all goodies inside, he had already taken the cash out earlier that day. I tell ya, we have been through the ringer trying to call everyone for the license, ss card, debit cards, and everything. Thank God everything was there.(Now, back on the phone to cancel all the red flags!!)
