Each person should judge his own actions and not compare himself with others. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done. Galatians 6:4

Ok.. time for you HONESTY.. I'm racking my brains this year for Christmas.. I don't want to do a material Christmas.. I just don't!!! I want to focus on the beauty of the season and why we celebrate.... So I made something.. and NOW I want your HONEST opinion... I say I'm a scrapper and I have shown you NOTHING.... This is a tiny bit like Scrapping...

If I were to GIVE you this gift ( of course if you knew the child in the picture that would help. ha ha ha)... Would you be happy with this??? Please be HONEST I can sooooooooooo TAKE IT!!! It's NOT 100% done... got a few tiny things to add... and the picture looks a bit "dull" here.. it's more vibrant in person....

Honestly - that is AWESOME! I would love to receive that either for me or for either of the children in my home (although I don't think Kenton would be too fond of the big pink flower! :O) )! Very very pretty and something that comes from the heart with a great message to be your very best all the time! LOVE IT!

I am LOVING the idea of a less materialistic Christmas (especially since we just took about $500 worth of toys, clothes, shoes, "stuff" to the DI this morning!).

What a great reminder to live up to our potential!

Seriously....I think it's really nice! Really good job!!! I think anyone who got something like that would love it! And it's so much better than some random scarf from the mall!!!!

I just said to my dh this week that I was going to do my darndest to stay away from getting more debt this Christmas..... Hopefully, we can follow thru.

So nice to meet another FLIP FLOP girl out there although I am a "teeny bit older" than you...smile!! A whole lotta older!! Oh well it does not matter on here anyway now does it!! You are my youngest daughter's age.
I love your idea for Christmas!! It is wonderful!! I also scrap too and if I got that for Christmas i would be EXTRA happy!! I would rather get something that someone made anytime. You put thought and work into this and that means a lot to me...
Thanks for dropping by!! SAndy

I think its fantabulous:) I LOVE it!! We are doing the same thing this year for our famiy! My scrapbook store just got a 12x12 photo copier, so I am making a page that will be good for all our friends and famiy members, than cipying it on good 12x12 high gloss paper and handing it out. I may even add the frame, if I can find one that I like:o) I really think that anyone who received your gift would love it. We are always getting so many manufactured product with no meaning and this would be a nice change!!

Priceless! Not only is it timeless it is also a gift sharing the most precious gift we all have... the gift of time. The "time", love and energy that you put into this project. GO Girl!

Are you kidding me? I would LOVE to receive a gift like that. I think the pink flower really sets it off. Perfect.

I would adore it.

My mom would adore it, and I usually get her stuff like that.

My mother in law doesn't like sentimental gifts, which I learned pretty quickly. She prefers the materialistic...which is fine.

I think most people would appreciate it, but I guess you just have to know who you're giving it to. :)

I love the idea of less materialistic Christmas for sure!! :)

It's great! You could also think about spelling out names with chipboard letters (or pick up one of the inexpensive foam alphabet stamp sets)
