Each person should judge his own actions and not compare himself with others. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done. Galatians 6:4

This is LATE in coming.. but I just couldn't share this blessing without pictures!!! Wendy ( check out my button at top) HOSTED a Scrapbooking SWAP.. and she paired me up with the BEST gal every.. I think I'm the LUCKIEST one!!! Krista at Scrapsinbloom was my "secret swapper".. Check out her blog..it will soon become one of your favorites!!! Her husband is doing something SUPER neat too.. if you LOVE and ADORE music like me.. Check this out.. all the GREAT and UP to DATE Christian music info you need!! Christian music is NOT for SISSY'S... You will be pretty surprised to know that some of the teens today are listening to Christian music and don't even KNOW they are Christian bands!!! Even my 17 year old always asks who I'm listening to... she says "How do you find these bands?.. They're good"... So check out the link to his new site!!

Ok... now for pictures..!!

When I first saw my box.. I KNEW right away.. I was dealing with a CREATIVE gal!!!

Just look what I got inside... my heart melted.. and I feared the worst.. I didn't send her nearly enough.. I was not generous enough like her... :(

My favorite little thing!!!

thank you again KRISTA!!! YOU ROCK!!!!
*********************************************************************************
Something in my heart that I needed to share!!
I'm discouraged.. especially with my local Wal*Mart... I think Wal*Mart can mark up their prices because people have fallen prey to their slogan "Always Low Prices".. However I beg to differ! I was just in there. We have a SUPER Wal*Mart so we have somewhat of a grocery store in there. Let me just say this though... there are NO Wal*Marts like the ones in NY.. they are seriously ROCKING!!!
Anyway... I went in last week and needed eggs. I had to pay $1.77 a dozen.. I wanted to cry.. it was way to much in my mind...Milk has gone up at least .30cents..and forget buying the kids chocolate milk anymore... That's over $4.00 a gallon.
Today after dropping off my Prescription that is going to take 2 hours to fill... ( don't ask me.. I don't understand this and I'm a PHARM TECH??) My RX is a TUBE of eye ointment.. that's it.. no measuring.. no counting.. it's slap the label on the box.. have the pharmacist peek at it and go!! But.. what ever.. I walked around and thought I would have TACO'S for dinner... So I psyched myself up... I went over to the lettuce.. and grabbed one.. and looked at the ticket for the price.. WHAT??? WHAT??? Wait.. I pulled the ticket OFF the display.. ok. I KNOW that I just had some of my eye lid taken off yesterday ( different story) but this possibly can't be right.. $1.68 for a HEAD of LETTUCE??? It's not GOLDEN Lettuce... seriously.. WHAT GIVES.. out loud I said.. "NO WAY".. I plopped that head of lettuce back down and walked away...
I had clothes I had to wash for hubby for hunting.. so instead of doing three loads of WET hunting gear.. I dropped it off at the Laundromat and headed down the Road to Market Basket...
I have to tell you.. if you live in my area.. right now.. that is the ONLY place to grocery shop for major items.. Cheese is almost .30 cents cheaper there.. Bread is .28 cents cheaper there.. eggs are $1.44 a dozen ( still a lot to me) and Lettuce... GET THIS.. .99 CENTS a head...
Who does Wal*Mart think they are kidding???? I work part-time.. if that.. my husband works hard.. and I don't want to overspend where I don't have to!! Are your Wal*Marts like this?? Now don't get me wrong.. I really like Wal*Mart.. some think they are the DEVIL.. some call it CHINA*MART and they truly aren't that off...
I have stopped to think.. if we see the price increase and it touches our purses, yet we have steady income.. how does this effect the elderly that are on a FIXED income? I fear for the safety of some of the elderly that are alone. They have worked all their lives.. some with 401K's.. but many without and are living off the tiny amount of Social Security that the Government gives them...
No matter how tough life must seem.. I know in my heart there are others out there who suffer and struggle more deeply than I do.. So if you have a few extra dollars this season.. maybe you can make a meal for an elderly person ( or couple).. so they don't have to choose between turkey or fuel... or a gift certificate... or even an invite to your Thanksgiving Dinner Table..
Christ paid to much of a Price for US.. way more than I know ANYONE of us would have paid... Would YOU have taken the place of this Man.. would you taken the nails in YOUR hands???
"Let us come before him with thanksgiving" Psalm 95:2
"Come let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for HE is our God ans we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care." Psalm 95:6

But, yet, I still go there......

I hear you. The whole Wal Mart thing is frustrating to me. I try to watch the ads for other grocery stores to get the best deals, but I don't have a lot of choice in my small towm.

Don't feel too bad though, eggs at my wal mart are over 2 dollars right now. My grocery bill has sky rocketed in the last few months, and aside from starving, I'm not sure how to keep it down.

It seems like grocery prices are sky rocketing everywhere. I shop at Meijer and I sometimes find myself double checking my receipt to make sure that I wasn't charged double for something. In this economy, it seems like everything is going up, except my paycheck. :P

poor old sam walton is prolly turnin in his grave since those lawyers bought his stores! prices are up, customer service is non existent, and now they've done away with fabrics and layaway! i'm not much of a target fan, but i'll be doing my shopping there from now on. i'm done with wally world!

I totally agree with the WAL*MART thing...even though I go there 2 time a week or more...
Why don't you get your scripts at your work? or is it too personal since it is your place of work?

Love your WalMart Rave...I have almost nothing good to say about Walmart..except one thing..I met my Friend Roxanne there. Yep that is where I met the Real Rox at Walmart. Other than that I avoid Walmart like the plague. Our Walmart is awful.
